Random Walk-Through Metal Detector Searches
With the purchase of six walk-through metal detectors, the District implemented random metal (weapon) searches at the junior and senior high schools. Random selection of busses, classes, and students determines who is subject to the detection process. School officials and district police officers work together to deter possession of weapons on our campuses during the school day and during special events.
